As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Controller and performing a variety of critical accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills, strong numerical abilities, and experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and raise invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile customer/supplier accounts and process payments and credit control effectively.
  • Monitor daily communication and respond promptly to queries from customers/suppliers.
  • Update databases with relevant information and maintain accurate records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent accounting and numerical skills.
  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Excel formulas.
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting package.
  • Accounts reconciliation experience.
  • Able to process large volumes of invoices and payments accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers.
  • Knowledge of RCT/CIS.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • ATI Diploma or equivalent desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with Sage 50.
