Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team in Mullingar. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Generate and send client invoices, follow up on receivables.

Financial Management:

  • Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Financial Reporting & Budget Monitoring:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets.
  • Track expenses and identify areas for cost optimization.

Bank Reconciliation & Compliance:

  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates.
  • Stay informed about relevant accounting and tax regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Operations Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
