What You'll Achieve

As a Data & Analytics Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision of ESB's data and analytics initiatives for Customer Solutions, leveraging analytics and AI to support decision-making and increase efficiencies.

You'll lead a forward-thinking team that supports the business in managing their data and using it to effectively leverage analytics and AI, which will support decision-making within the business and increase efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team to identify actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions based on data and facts.
  2. Proactively looking for ways to use data, analytics, and AI solutions to help the business take a data-driven approach when making key business decisions.
  3. Collaborating with ESB's Data and Analytics Manager on evolving and shaping the data and analytics strategy for the company.
  4. Defining, estimating, and planning the delivery of complex analytic products and services across multiple delivery streams for Customer Solutions.
  5. Collaborating with senior stakeholders in Customer Solutions to champion analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  6. Working with IT & Digital Management to develop annual budgets for Data & Analytics programmes of work.
  7. Regularly updating senior stakeholders on status updates and progress of analytics work against time and budget.
  8. Supporting all data-related production systems and deployed data solutions.
  9. Evaluating the need for an adequate strategic resource plan for the management of the team against the demand of the business unit.
  10. Developing the team members, including annual PDP reviews, personal and performance management & development, clear goal setting and monitoring, mentoring, and coaching.
  11. Collaborating with Enterprise, Business, and Solution Architecture in defining roadmaps and strategies regarding Data & Analytics.
  12. Managing financial budgets and procurement activities.
  13. Managing new and existing Data & Analytics projects.
