Highly Skilled Technical Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior CAD Designer/Technician to join our organization. As a crucial member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical production drawings from design concepts and overseeing projects through all manufacturing stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and precise technical drawings using software such as Cabinet Vision and ArtiCAD
- Prepare projects for CNC nesting and ensure accuracy and quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Work closely with workshop, installation, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Continuously seek improvements in practices, processes, and standards to maintain exceptional quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician, Draughtsperson, or Product Designer within cabinetry, joinery, or furniture manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry design, materials, and CAD workflows
- Proficiency in Cabinet Vision (essential) and ArtiCAD
- Experience with CNC operating and preparation for nesting
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail with high standards of workmanship
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
