Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Distribution Specialist. This is a full-time position in our Supply Chain Department, under the Warehouse team.

  • Oversee Receiving, sampling, picking, and shipping in the warehouse.
  • Exercise judgment to identify problems and appropriate actions, generating alternatives and recommendations within defined processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Accuracy and Monitoring:
  • Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly cycle counts of pharmaceutical inventory.
  • Verify and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Report inventory variances promptly and recommend corrective actions.
Receipt of Materials:
  • Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials and components.
  • Verify quantities, check for damage, and ensure proper storage conditions.
Material Sampling:
  • Perform sampling of incoming materials according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Supply Chain Management:
  • Pick and prepare materials for packaging and tabletting manufacturing lines based on production orders.
  • Ensure timely and efficient supply to production.
Safety and Cleanliness:
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to minimize risks in handling pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the counting area.
Data Entry and Documentation:
  • Update inventory data in the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and investigations.
Compliance and Collaboration:
  • FOLLOW ALL STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPS) AND GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMPs).
  • Ensure the handling and storage of pharmaceuticals adhere to temperature, humidity, and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred (ideally within a compliance related role).
  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Basic knowledge of OPEX Lean tools, and root cause analysis tools used for identifying and correcting deviations.
