As an experienced HR professional, you will be responsible for providing expert support to various stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for HR-related queries and provide timely guidance to managers and employees.
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns and implement solutions to improve employee engagement and productivity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR databases, including reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant audit requirements and best practices in HR management.
- Carry out general administrative tasks, such as filing, reference checks, and drafting correspondence.
- Manage and attend interviews, oversee the offer process, and respond to candidate inquiries.
- Prepare contracts of employment and maintain confidential employee records.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires and provide exceptional customer service.
- Represent the HR department in meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Administer and configure the in-house HR system to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing Industry.
- A third-level qualification in Business or a related discipline.
- CIPD certification is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level or above.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
