Job Title: Luxury Hotel Events Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and organised professional to lead the delivery of exceptional events within a luxury hotel in Cong, Co. Mayo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of conferences, banquets, weddings, and other high-end functions, ensuring excellence in service, attention to detail, and strong coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Work closely with sales and events teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of client requirements.
  • Manage and motivate the events team, providing excellent customer service at all touchpoints.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event briefings and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior events role within a 4* or 5* hotel environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-end events, from intimate weddings to large corporate functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Proficient in event planning software and operational systems.
  • Currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
