Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled BODY SHOP COORDINATOR to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and experience in a body shop at any capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for processing all damages requiring body shop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with key performance indicators, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in the body shop at any time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs
  • Upload damage packs to shared drives
  • Perform quality checks on vehicles post-repair
  • Notify workshop managers of QC outcomes
  • Manage and monitor vehicles in the body shop
  • Ensure damage packs meet documentation and information requests
  • Act as a contact point for service departments and other departments
  • Provide training support to satellite branches as needed
  • Liaise with asset departments regarding vehicle collection/movements
  • Ensure timely job card creation and update CAP accordingly
  • Update internal and external customers on repair status
  • Handle emails and correspondence
  • Communicate daily with external body shops
  • Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audits
  • Maintain filing systems
Person Specification:
  • Leaving certificate including maths & English or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
  • Experience in a body shop at any capacity
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and relationship building
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
  • Team player and adaptable to change
  • Experience in vehicle rental or the motor industry
  • Body shop, warranty, or workshop experience desirable
  • Suitable for apprentice mechanics or panel beaters interested in administrative roles
