Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and large fleet enable us to deliver vehicles quickly and minimize downtime.
Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in Dublin.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in a similar position.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining less than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Capture additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs.
Upload damage packs to shared drives.
Perform quality checks on vehicles returning from repairs.
Notify the Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair approval or failure.
Manage and monitor vehicles in the Bodyshop.
Manage damage packs and documentation requests.
Act as a point of contact for Service Department and other departments for queries and support.
Provide training support to satellite branches as needed.
Liaise with Asset Department regarding vehicle collection and recovery.
Ensure timely raising of job cards and update CAP regularly.
Update customers on repair progress.
Handle correspondence via email and letters.
Maintain daily communication with external Bodyshops.
Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audits.
Maintain filing systems.
Flexibility is required as this list is not exhaustive.
Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training
Leaving Certificate with Maths & English or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance.
Experience in a Bodyshop at any capacity.
Proven customer service skills and relationship building.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Organized, self-motivated, and administrative skills.
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
Team player and adaptable.
Experience in vehicle rental or the motor industry is desirable.
Experience in body shop, warranty, or workshop roles is a plus.
May suit an apprentice mechanic or panel beater interested in an administrative role.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum pro-rata, plus:
23 days holidays plus a day for your birthday, pro-rata.
