Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our growing network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles quickly and keep them on the road longer by minimizing downtime.
Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our expanding business, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity for someone with similar experience from a previous role.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages (in life & end of life) requiring Bodyshop assessment & repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Take additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs.
Upload damage packs to shared drives.
Perform quality checks on vehicles post-repair.
Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair acceptance or failure.
Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop.
Manage damage packs to meet documentation and information requests.
Serve as contact point for Service Department and other departments for queries and support.
Provide training support to satellite branches as needed.
Liaise with Asset Department for vehicle collection/movements.
Ensure timely job card creation and updates in CAP.
Update internal and external customers on repair progress.
Handle correspondence via email and letters.
Communicate daily with external Bodyshops.
Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audit reports.
Maintain filing systems.

Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training
Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance.
Experience in a Bodyshop at any capacity.
Proven customer service skills and relationship building.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated with organizational and administrative skills.
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
Team player with adaptability.
Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry beneficial.
Experience in Bodyshop, Warranty, or Workshop desirable.
Apprentice mechanic/panel beater interested in administrative roles may also apply.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum, pro-rata, plus:
23 days holidays plus a day for your birthday, pro-rata.
