Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles to customers faster than any other light commercial vehicle supplier, while minimizing downtime to keep vehicles on the road longer.
Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity for someone with similar experience.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities
Take additional images of damaged vehicles for damage packs
Upload damage packs to shared drives
Perform quality checks on vehicles post-repair
Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes
Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop
Manage damage packs and documentation requests
Serve as point of contact for Service Department and other departments
Provide training support to satellite branches
Liaise with Asset Department for vehicle movements
Ensure timely job card creation and updates
Update customers on repair progress
Handle emails and correspondence
Communicate daily with external Bodyshops
Conduct fleet audit reporting
Perform filing and administrative duties

Person Specification - Education & Qualifications
Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
Experience in a Bodyshop environment
Proven customer service skills and relationship building
Strong communication skills
Work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
IT proficiency in Microsoft Office
Organizational and administrative skills
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
Team player adaptable to change
Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry preferred
Body shop, warranty, or workshop experience desirable
Apprentice mechanics or panel beaters interested in administrative roles are encouraged to apply
What We Offer
Competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum, pro-rata, plus:
