Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles to customers faster than any other light commercial vehicle supplier, while minimizing downtime to keep vehicles on the road longer.
Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team at our Dublin branch.
This role is ideal for someone with similar experience in a previous position.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities
Capture additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs
Upload damage packs to shared drives
Perform quality checks on vehicles returning from repairs
Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes
Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop
Ensure documentation and damage packs are complete and accurate
Serve as the point of contact for queries from Service Department and other departments
Provide training support to satellite branches as needed
Liaise with Asset Department regarding vehicle collection/movements
Ensure timely job card creation and update CAP accordingly
Update customers on repair progress
Handle emails and correspondence
Communicate daily with external Bodyshops
Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audits
Maintain filing systems

Person Specification - Education & Training
Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
Experience in a Bodyshop role
Proven customer service skills and relationship building
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organized, self-motivated, with good administrative skills
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
Team player and adaptable
Experience in vehicle rental or the motor industry
Experience in Bodyshop, Warranty, or Workshop roles is desirable
Suitable for an apprentice mechanic or panel beater interested in an administrative role
What we offer
A competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum pro-rata, plus:
