About the Job

The Hotel Revenue Optimization Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximizing hotel profitability. This individual will be responsible for analyzing monthly hotel performance, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze monthly hotel performance metrics, including occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager and Sales Manager to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Monitor competitor rates and market trends to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Manage inventory and recommend revenue maximization strategies.
  • Analyze lost, refused, and canceled business to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Update weekly forecasts and compare variances to budget.
  • Prepare 3-6 month forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Administer group bookings and process all requests.
  • Input reservations into the system and work closely with the front desk team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel revenue management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
