Job Title: Process Engineering Manager

This role is responsible for translating client needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements. The process engineering manager will play a critical role in interpreting customer process requirements and creating deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading internal and external design teams and project managers to influence and optimize design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document client process needs and draft high-level design concepts that will be shared with customers.
  • Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
  • Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
  • Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
  • In conjunction with the manufacturing team, develop documentation to support the assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions.
  • Working with the General Manager, define standard product offerings that meet the needs of the water and wastewater treatment market.
  • Support the design team and project manager to ensure the successful delivery of robust technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Managerial experience of process or design teams is advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness, ensuring product proposals are both cost-effective and profitable.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience is advantageous).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Project.
