Guest Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Guest Services Representative to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, playing a crucial part in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Your primary responsibility will be to process reservations via phone, email, and online channels, providing exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations every step of the way.

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding room reservations, displaying a high level of professionalism and empathy.
• Assist guests with booking rooms, processing payments, and confirming reservation details, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
• Offer room upgrades, packages, and additional services to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating a genuine passion for delivering outstanding results.
• Handle reservation modifications and cancellations efficiently and courteously, always striving to find solutions that meet the needs of our valued guests.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure compliance with hotel policies, upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions, showcasing your knowledge and enthusiasm for the area.
• Build rapport with guests and address their concerns in a timely and professional manner, consistently receiving positive feedback from our valued patrons.
• Contribute to maximizing hotel occupancy and revenue generation, driving business growth and success through your exceptional skills and work ethic.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a reservations role, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficient in reservation software and property management systems, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
