Hotel Leadership Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our four-star hotel in Co Wexford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining exceptional service standards across all departments
  • Establishing and maintaining efficient operating procedures throughout the hotel
  • Driving cost control and profit growth through effective operational management
  • Fostering a culture of excellence among staff members to achieve set objectives
  • Leading the business with a forward-thinking approach, ensuring sound conduct and positive management practices

The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience as General Manager of a similar property, with brand experience being advantageous. They should demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing hotel budgets, showcasing excellent market knowledge and competitive awareness.

Candidate attributes include:

  • Strong numeric, literacy, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, hotel management software)
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines through proactive planning and result-oriented actions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Capacity to maintain good working relationships with departmental managers and staff members
  • Ability to develop personable business relationships with clients, guests, and staff
  • Act as hotel ambassador, upholding professionalism and integrity at all times
