We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions in a high-volume multi-currency environment.
- Ensure invoices are properly approved, matched to purchase orders & good receipt notes, and accurately processed in accordance with company procedures.
- Resolve any discrepancies or queries with vendors promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams in response to discrepancies and inquiries.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Maintain and monitor designated Accounts Payable e-mail inboxes.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements, address any discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Weekly reports for internal distribution.
- Process changes to vendor account set-ups.
- Provide backup for other members of the Accounts Payable team as required.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as needed.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience managing a high-volume, multi-jurisdiction accounts payable function.
- Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication across a range of stakeholders to ensure outputs from the function are maximised.
- Ability to take personal responsibility.
- Flexible and positive attitude towards work.
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Hybrid working arrangement: 4 days per week in-office and 1 day per week remote (post-probation).
Please note that the ideal candidate will have experience in similar roles and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
