Adventure Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to head our Adventure Team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop new strategies and systems for safe, successful, and profitable operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Adventure team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality content and delivery standards.
  • Provide expert instruction in specialist areas relevant to outdoor activities.
  • Support affiliated adventure projects and opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver programmes of outdoor activities for guests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and guest safety procedures.
  • Purchase, maintain, and prepare activity equipment.
  • Manage financial aspects, including projections, costing, and invoicing.
  • Maintain incident and safety records, maintenance logs, and Adventure team records/training and PPE safety logs.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in multiple outdoor activities, including at least two full and relevant instructorships.
  • Up-to-date First Aid certification.
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar business or industry.
  • Desirable: A 3rd-level Qualification in a related subject such as business management, outdoor education, leadership, recreation, or sports-related course.
