Job Title: Transport Operations Manager

  • About the Role:">
  • As a Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transport team.">
  • You will ensure that all routes are dispatched in a timely and orderly manner, using technology to monitor driver schedules and report on performance.">
  • Your role will involve analyzing driver performance, coaching and motivating team members, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.">
  • You will also be responsible for completing accident reports, minimizing damages and delivery shortages, and leading by example in maintaining company policies and procedures.">
  • Requirements:">
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in a high-volume distribution operation.">
  • Competence in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.">
  • Good working knowledge of Department of Transport regulations, including Tachograph legislation and the Working Time Directive.">
  • Experience in participating in investigations and disciplinary procedures related to incidents, absence, or performance.">
  • The ability to motivate and manage a team to deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.">
  • Able to plan and organize work activities in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.">
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business data and present findings.">
  • Familiarity with transport management software and processes.">
