Design Innovator

As a seasoned mechanical design professional, you will spearhead the creation of cutting-edge secondary packaging equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative mechanical designs for bespoke automation and secondary packaging systems
  • Produce detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
  • Ensure designs comply with industry-specific safety standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Controls, Electrical, and Project Management teams
  • Mentor junior mechanical designers and engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in mechanical design, with at least 5 in automation or special purpose machinery
  • Expert-level proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PDM systems

Success measured by: On-time project delivery, Reduced waste and rework, Increased innovation; Implementation of cost-saving strategies
