For our Irish entity, we're seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen our sales department. If you're experienced in wound care or passionate about working for a renowned pharmaceutical company, this role could be perfect for you.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling our products in the West Ireland area, covering Cork, Limerick, and Galway. Your primary contacts will be wound care professionals in acute and community settings, as well as nursing and elderly homes.

This position suits candidates who enjoy challenges and want to make a difference.

Your Responsibilities:
  • You will represent our products and manage sales for your territory.
  • Take ownership of your region: develop innovative strategies, identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor practices to create relevant sales strategies with the support of your manager.
  • Under the guidance of the Regional Director, maintain a strategic business plan aligned with best practices and industry standards.
  • You will execute all sales activities from introducing new products to presentations and training for customers, ensuring each stakeholder receives key sales messages.
  • Be the primary contact for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in your region to build long-term relationships.
  • Act as our brand ambassador and represent us at relevant conferences, congresses, and trade fairs.
  • Maintain our CRM system according to company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Medical departments to achieve shared goals.
Your Qualifications:
  • Ideal experience includes 3-5 years of territory sales experience within wound care or pharmaceuticals.
  • You can demonstrate initial experience in a similar position in a medical or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A strong customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Data savvy and comfortable with numbers, able to effectively use Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and Showpad.
  • Fluent in English.
  • A valid Driving License.
  • As a problem solver, work with your line manager to find innovative approaches to resolve situations and improve your performance.
