Client Care Coordinator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scheduling Co-ordination: Coordinate schedules for care assistants on a daily basis to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  2. Operational Issue Resolution: Address operational issues arising from customer care calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Client Care Team Assignment: Ensure clients have a permanent care team assigned to them, providing continuity and stability.
  4. Scheduling Queries: Deal with scheduling queries and respond accordingly, maintaining excellent communication with clients and staff.
  5. Emergency Cover: Provide emergency cover until the next working day, ensuring minimal disruption to client care.
  6. Time Changes Notification: Inform clients of time changes and schedule updates, keeping them informed and up-to-date.
  7. Schedule Assignment: Assign schedules two weeks in advance, allowing clients and staff to plan and prepare.
  8. Weekly Allocated Hours Verification: Verify weekly allocated hours to ensure accurate records and optimal resource allocation.
  9. Care Manager Liaison: Liaise with Care Manager on start dates for new carers, facilitating smooth integration into the care team.
  10. Report Completion: Complete reports by the last working day, providing valuable insights and data for continuous improvement.
  11. Shift Coverage: Ensure shifts are covered two weeks in advance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Office Administration Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in office administration, with a strong focus on organisational skills and attention to detail.
  2. One Touch Advantage: One Touch experience is highly desirable, showcasing ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  3. Healthcare Experience: Healthcare experience is an advantage, demonstrating understanding of the care sector and its challenges.
  4. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  5. Independence: Ability to work independently, making decisions, and taking initiative when necessary.
