Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our Operations Management Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to leverage their expertise in stock control, continuous improvement, and warehouse management systems to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the cycle check program to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage all stock control activities to maintain high standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement across key warehouse processes to optimize performance.
  • Review and enhance workflows for goods in replenishment, picking, and despatch to streamline operations.
  • Act as an expert for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support operational efficiency.
  • Drive WMS optimization to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Support the Operations Leadership Team with cross-functional responsibilities to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide site supervision and cover during team absences or leave to ensure continuity.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in stock control and cycle count activities with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Skilled in optimizing warehouse management systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other computer tools to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the operations team.
  • Excellent written and verbal English to communicate complex ideas.
  • Collaborative team player with a self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Quick to adapt and respond to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

Possessing a Lean or Continuous Improvement qualification would be beneficial. Hands-on experience with various warehouse management systems and a strong background in multiple areas of warehouse operations, including picking, would be advantageous.
