Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Hospitality Financial Strategist to lead our financial operations across multiple sites, driving timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities, ensuring seamless execution of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Manage monthly closing processes, producing consolidated and site-level reports, including Profit & Loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Review and approve forecasts and budgets, supporting department heads in achieving strategic goals.
  • Analyze financial data to provide valuable insights and inform decision-making.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card accounts across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead payroll processing across sites, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Provide financial input on capital projects, investments, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and mentor the finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accounting background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior financial management position, ideally within hospitality or multi-site operations.
  • A proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; exposure to hotel back-office systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to support senior stakeholders.
