A forward-thinking organization is seeking an Employment Counsel to join its Global Legal Team. The Employment Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance and support to HR and business partners on employment law matters, manage employee disputes, and ensure compliance with global employment laws.

Job Description

About the Role

  • Collaborate with the worldwide HR team and business leaders to address complex employment law challenges
  • Manage employee disputes and litigation through effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements that align with company goals
  • Develop and implement employment policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment
  • Design and deliver employee training programs to enhance knowledge and understanding of employment laws
  • Conduct thorough internal investigations into employment-related matters
Requirements
  • Attorney/JD with admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of experience in employment law, preferably at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
  • Deep understanding of global employment laws, including EMEA and APAC regulations
  • Proven ability to advise clients on employment law compliance and workplace issues
  • Experience with employment litigation, including discovery and coordination with outside counsel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into practical business advice
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions
  • Prior in-house counsel experience and expertise in internal workplace investigations are highly valued
