Business Development Leader

We are seeking a Business Development Leader to join our Sales Division. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.

You will work closely with our Account Director to drive operational improvements and coach our talented Account Managers to excel.

In fast-paced FMCG environments, speed, precision, and consistency are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining delivery standards, supporting team growth, and making a tangible impact on client satisfaction and commercial performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Account Director to ensure seamless operational delivery for multiple FMCG accounts.
  • Provide expert support to Account Managers, resolving challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement standardised processes to embed service excellence across all accounts.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their confidence, capability, and performance.
  • Lead client onboarding and internal rollouts, managing data flows and reporting.
  • Support Account Director with budget monitoring and accurate P&L reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in client services, account management, or operations (FMCG experience is highly desirable).
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing people.
  • Outstanding organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience implementing consistent processes and service standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
