Job Summary

This position is based on-site in Raheen, Limerick. The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring business needs are reflected in solution design and delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develop process maps and flowcharts to visualize and optimize business processes.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable goals and break down complex requirements into user stories or use cases.
  • Prioritise user stories and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders based on impact and urgency.
  • Act as Product Owner during project phases, ensuring business needs are reflected in solution design and delivery.
  • Maintain accountability for digital solution implementation and system integration.
  • Delegate system ownership responsibilities where appropriate, while retaining overall accountability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Serve as the point of contact for requirement clarifications and ensure the final product meets user expectations.
  • Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in daily/weekly standups, manage backlog items, and provide feedback on completed work.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, developers, and project managers.
  • Review and sign off on prototypes, wireframes, and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
  • Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
  • Analyse data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities; collaborate with IT to develop data visualizations and reports.
