ERP Support Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive ERP Support Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in enterprise resource planning systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / NAV.

The successful candidate will have a broad interest in IT and enjoy analyzing and resolving business, accounting, and technical issues while managing client expectations.

  1. Key Areas of Activity:
  2. Responding to customer support queries, logged via our online customer portal support system and by telephone.
  3. Taking ownership of support issues and managing them through to closure.
  4. Researching issues, implementing fixes & documenting case resolution.
  5. Managing and prioritizing support tickets to meet agreed service level agreements.
  6. Keeping the customer informed as to the progress of the ticket.
  7. Escalating queries to Development & Business Consultants as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A broad interest in IT and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV, SAP, Oracle, etc., and broad business applications and accounting processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in General Ledger, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory & Stock, Manufacturing & Warehousing would be an advantage.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and expand your knowledge of business applications.
  • Ability to work both within a team and on your own initiative as required.
