Healthcare Revenue Cycle Operations Specialist

This role supports the implementation of healthcare systems across Ireland. The specialist will assist with configuration, testing, and validation of revenue cycle-related applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and validating revenue cycle workflows within MEDITECH Expanse and associated applications.
  • Review and provide feedback on system functionality related to charge master, billing rules, claims processing, payment posting, and reconciliation.
  • Support system configuration to align with payer requirements, billing guidelines, and financial policy.

Implementation Support & Testing:

  • Assist in revenue cycle system configuration, data migration validation, and integration with existing enterprise resource planning platforms.
  • Participate in testing activities for revenue cycle modules, including integrated testing and user acceptance testing, under the guidance of the Workstream Lead.
  • Help identify and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with IT, finance, and clinical Workstreams.

Documentation & Governance:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including current state/future state maps, risk/issue logs, and change logs, as assigned by the Workstream Lead.
  • Assist in preparing materials for governance processes, such as senior management meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting.
