Group HR Manager

Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to manage the Human Resources function within an organisation.

  • Manage, support, guide and provide advice to Human Resources and Management teams.
  • Develop organisational strategies by identifying and researching Human Resources issues.
  • Direct the HR teams, ensuring legal requirements are current and compliance in relation to employment legislation.
  • Direct, monitor and lead training plans, including induction, educational assistance program, training plan, SOP training and all other training related initiatives.
  • Manage employee benefits and entitlements.
  • Direct industrial relations as required to include employee information and consultation forums.
  • Oversee the Training and Development Strategy.
  • Succession planning and talent management.
  • Oversee how breaches of work practices are documented and dealt with.
  • Oversee Data Protection and FOI regulations and collaborate with Clare County Council regarding Data Protection and FOI regulations regarding policy and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
