Job Description

As an Assistant Producer for Graphics, you will be responsible for ensuring that live graphics are accurate, timely, and impactful. You will collaborate with graphics operators and production teams to bring key stats and storylines to life during broadcasts.

The position is directly tied to live sports schedules, including high-profile events like the UEFA Champions League, Six Nations, international football, and the League of Ireland. Shift patterns and working days will flex to meet the demands of live coverage, requiring a sharp editorial eye and a cool head under pressure.

This is a specified contract which will run for 9 months, with a commitment of approximately 64 hours per month. Flexibility will be required in line with the demands of live television.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all live sports graphics.
  • Work closely with the dedicated graphics operator to ensure smooth implementation of visual elements.
  • Continuously monitor game statistics, trends, and key insights, alerting the production team to emerging storylines.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and editorial teams to determine which graphics best enhance live coverage.
  • Verify all graphics for factual accuracy and editorial relevance before they go on air.
