Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract. This onsite position requires occasional travel to other client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex end-user hardware and software issues that cannot be dealt with by the Helpdesk.
  • Document and communicate solutions to technical problems.
  • Work with Active Directory, creating users, performing password resets, account removals/transfers, Group Policy, and User Permissions.
  • Deal with all end-user hardware/software problems that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk, including local software, network connectivity, printing, PC performance issues.
  • Maintain mobile phones, audio-visual equipment, and ensure timely Windows Updates.
  • Release Emails or Websites blocked by an email or web filter.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a Level-2 Helpdesk Role.
  • Previous experience working with Active Directory, creating users, performing password resets, account removals/transfers, Group Policy, and User Permissions.
  • Experience dealing with complex end-user hardware/software problems that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk, including local software, network connectivity, printing, PC performance issues.
  • Experience dealing with at least 3 of the following: Citrix, Mobile Phones, Audio-visual, VMWare, Windows Updates, and releasing Emails or Websites blocked by an email or web filter.

Benefits:

This is an onsite position with occasional travel to other client sites using your own vehicle, fully expensed.

Other Details:

Please note that this is a day rate contract located in North Dublin.
