Pliant is a rapidly expanding fintech company empowering businesses to grow through innovative payment solutions.
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to support our expansion into the Irish market based in Dublin, Ireland.
This key role will focus on convincing prospective customers of Pliant's digital credit card and payments solution as the future of payments. Close collaboration with Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management teams will ensure delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development within the fintech, SaaS or financial services sectors. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
About the Role- Candidate Acquisition & Retention: Identify, engage and build strong relationships with key prospects across Ireland. Convert leads into customers while nurturing long-term client relationships to maximise retention and satisfaction.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing. Ensure a structured process is followed consistently achieving targets.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a market expert for Pliant, representing the brand at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings. Advocate for Pliant's vision and technology within the Irish market.
- Market Understanding: Stay updated on the latest developments in the Irish fintech landscape, competitors' offerings and customer needs. Provide valuable market insights and recommendations for product enhancements and go-to-market strategies.
