Key Role in Loan Operations

\

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our growing team as a Loan Facility Agent/Manager. This critical role involves acting as the primary point of contact between borrowers, lenders, and stakeholders on syndicated and club loan transactions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, lenders, and internal teams.\
  • Review loan documentation from an operational perspective to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and LMA/LSTA templates.\
  • Collaborate with originating business teams and external counsel on documentation comments and negotiation points.\
  • Manage deal on-boarding, ensuring all documentation and conditions precedent are fulfilled in a timely manner.\
  • Coordinate the closing process, including funds flow management.\
  • Handle ongoing deal administration, including amendments, waivers, consents, issue escalations, and transaction management.\
  • Oversee day-to-day loan operations (drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, fees, margin adjustments, covenants, secondary debt trades/transfers, etc.) in collaboration with off-shore support teams.\

Requirements

  • \
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Agency role within syndicated loans.\
  • A strong understanding of complex lending structures.\
  • The ability to read and interpret credit agreements.\
  • Previous experience within financial institutions.\
  • A client-focused mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.\
  • A positive, proactive team player prepared to 'go the extra mile.'\
  • Familiarity with LoanIQ is advantageous.\
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Lean environments.\
