Centre Administrator Role

The role of a Centre Administrator involves working under the direct supervision of the Director and is responsible for all logistics, including finances.

AccountabilitiesPre-Program Preparation
  • Attend required training meetings prior to the start of a session
  • Review itineraries and become knowledgeable about program aspects
  • Complete any required training sessions or courses
  • Become familiar with mlaEasy Center Management software
Center Management
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized office
  • Attend meetings with Group Leaders in support of the Director
  • Record minutes from regular meetings with Campus Partners
Safety and Welfare
  • Support the Director in establishing emergency evacuation plans
  • Maintain 24-hour on-call assistance for the Center
  • Address guest or staff concerns and document issues
  • Be aware of safeguarding needs of minors
Quality Performance
  • Participate in comprehensive Center induction for new guests
  • Attend Group Leader meeting within 24 hours of arrival
  • Verify student and Group Leader handbooks are available
  • Follow up with staff to ensure prompt guest inquiry handling
Program Setup
  • Oversee staff preparation of the site
  • Assist with setup of student rooms
  • Conduct guest room inspections to verify cleanliness
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain Master Centre Excel file
  • Collect and catalog receipts for purchases
  • Manage Centre petty cash and participate in weekly audits
  • Reconcile staff meal cards
