As a seasoned professional in investment decision-making, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing robust commercial business cases and creating detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives.

Sustaining Market Knowledge is essential for this role, where you will monitor key developments across the energy market, analyse competitor activity, and provide regular updates on market outlook and implications for the organisation's investment pipeline.

Governance Support is also critical, as you will lead the preparation of documentation required for investment governance processes and ensure clarity of assumptions, data sources, and methodologies used.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in business case development, financial modelling, or commercial strategy within the energy sector.
  • Strong quantitative and modelling capability, with experience applying sensitivity/scenario analysis and investment evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and policy frameworks such as RESS, CfD, and State Aid.
