Quality Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Quality Director to lead our quality function. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive quality excellence throughout the organization.

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure effective execution of quality organizational strategies and policies.
  • Contribute to the achievement of overall business objectives by ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and achieve annual operating plans for the quality function, aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure that quality strategies are aligned with the wider organization's goals.
  • Implement metrics to measure and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.
  • Manage resources and foster cross-functional teamwork to deliver Operational Excellence targets.
  • Responsible for talent development and performance management within the Quality team.
  • Accountable for Management Reviews to evaluate overall quality performance and provide guidance for improvements.
  • Partner with customers and product introduction teams to ensure new products and processes meet quality standards.
  • Lead supplier quality initiatives to ensure best practices in supplier quality assurance.
  • Communicate quality regulations and their impact on roles and responsibilities to all staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical devices quality systems (ISO13485/FDA).
  • Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant progressive experience within a similar environment, with five or more successful years in a leadership position.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality management systems and associated regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA etc.).
  • Experience using SAP ERP software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrable ability to achieve goals through collaboration, influencing, and interaction at all levels across the business/function.
