Hotel Assistant Manager Role

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced hotel professional to take on a key leadership role within our food and beverage department.

  • Responsibilities will include liaising with suppliers, managing stock control and payroll, ensuring security of cash and credit card transactions, and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports in accordance with company standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotels and hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Some key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Liaising with suppliers and managing bar stock in a secure manner.
  • Ensuring payroll and rosters are completed for the department as required.
  • Managing and carrying out effective stock control and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Maximising revenue and upselling through effective management and target setting.
  • Reducing costs without compromising customer experience.
  • Ensuring accurate banking and accounting practices.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for team members.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to work on own initiative, with excellent understanding of all aspects of a hotel.
