Supply Chain Co-Op Placement Opportunity

This placement will provide a unique chance to work on a Supply Chain project alongside your team and college supervisor at our Limerick site. As part of Stryker's Cooperative cohort, you will gain valuable experience and develop key skills in sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Strategies: Develop effective sourcing strategies for assigned suppliers and commodities, supporting business objectives and driving growth.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supplier and commodity strategies, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Contract Negotiation: Represent the 'voice of the supplier' in the organization, negotiating contracts that balance business needs with supplier requirements.
Requirements:
  • You must be enrolled in an Irish or Northern Irish university course in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, BIS, or other related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A basic level of PC skills is required, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
