
Occupational Health and Environmental Manager

The Health and Safety Lead is responsible for providing specialized guidance and support on all aspects of environment, health, safety, and welfare within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the health, safety, and environmental management system to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
- Collaborate effectively with the construction team to implement the integrated management system.
- Ensure the site is properly equipped with a site-specific construction EHS plan.
- Become a subject matter expert in all high-risk activities, ensuring they are identified and controlled on site.
- Support the development and coordination of the risk assessment & method statement process.
- Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training and communication to all site personnel, including subcontractors, on these procedures.
- Ensure all subcontractors are prequalified according to company protocols and assigned to the project.
- Report and investigate incidents following incident management procedures and notification protocols.
- Communicate safety alerts through weekly toolbox talks.
- Provide EHS project support and maintain relevant documentation.
- Relevant health and safety diploma/degree.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental health and safety role.
- Experience in construction would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Willingness to travel if required.
