About the Role:

Job Description

This is a leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Garryowen Day Centre services. The successful candidate will have experience in caring for people with dementia and possess excellent communication skills.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure high-quality care and support are provided to individuals living with dementia. This includes leading a team, overseeing staff supervision and development, and implementing effective HR, financial management, quality standards, and risk management practices within the service.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can effectively communicate with team members, clients, carers, and other stakeholders as required. Experience in human resource management, financial management, quality standards, and risk management would be an asset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead by example and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Nursing degree and registration with NMBI (desirable)
