Job Title: Instructor Position
Job OverviewThis is an opportunity to join our team as a senior instructor in a day services setting. The successful candidate will provide support and act as an advocate for participation and inclusion in the community on behalf of the people we support.
The role involves working within a framework of a person-centred approach, actively engaging with and promoting cooperation and partnership with other services, both internally and externally.
You will be required to complete all relevant reports and training, incorporate and implement new directions in line with national standards for day services.
Main Responsibilities- Enable individuals to realise their goals and achieve their identified priorities.
- Provide support and advocacy for participation and inclusion in the community.
- Work within a person-centred approach, promoting cooperation and partnership with other services.
- A relevant 3rd level qualification (minimum Level 7 Degree).
- A minimum of three years' experience of supporting adults with an intellectual disability post qualification.
- A passion for promoting and empowering those you support.
- Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to document and report accurately and professionally.
