Production Maintenance Manager

This role oversees the Maintenance Department resources to ensure Equipment Reliability, Compliance to Safety & Quality standards. It supports the site's strategy by guaranteeing the production equipment is available when needed and delivers product per customer demand.

This position leads engineers and technicians, with key responsibilities including:

  • ">
  • Maintenance, reliability, and spare parts for production equipment on-site;">
  • Department budgets and inventory control for maintenance spare parts;">
  • Coaching and executing the Preventive Maintenance strategy for the site, based on Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), Preventative Maintenance (PM), and other industry standards;">
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert of the site's CMMS (SAP) system;">
  • Planning, scheduling, and providing training and coaching to team members in TPM, Planned Maintenance & Root Cause Analysis processes;">
  • Maintaining efficiency at the highest possible level at the lowest possible cost consistent with prescribed quality standards;">
  • Responsible for site Maintenance KPIs;">
  • Recommending improvements and desirable modifications in methods, procedures, processes, equipment, and layout;">
  • Managing vendors and consultants to ensure that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications and are delivered as required;">
  • Authoring, reviewing, revising, or approving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);">
  • Ensuring on-time Compliance records of the Maintenance Department;">
  • Delivering Year-on-Year 4% productivity savings;">
  • Contribute to site OEE ambition and delivery plans;">
  • Owning the Asset Replacement strategy;">
  • Sponsoring appropriate capital projects;">
  • Adhering to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.) and QMS policy and regulatory requirements;">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;">
  • 10 years of maintenance experience required, with at least 7 years in Supervisor or Managerial roles;">
  • Preferably 5 years in pharmaceutical or OTC industry;">
  • Good written and communication skills to interact with all levels of management;">
  • CMMS knowledge (e.g., SAP);">
  • Good presentation skills;">
  • Root cause analysis knowledge;">
