Dairy Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary
">As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality of raw milk and other dairy products. Your primary focus will be on implementing and participating in internal and external proficiency tests, as well as maintaining accurate records and documentation.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Conduct chemical and microbiological tests on raw milk, including FTIR, Gerber, Kjeldahl; LCMS/MS; Antibiotic/ Inhibitor analysis;
- Perform microorganism testing using rapid microbiology methods: Bactoscan, Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA), PCR,
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance;
- Implement and participate in internal and external quality control programs, documenting all test results and any issues that may arise;
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of laboratory hygiene and cleanliness;
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding test results and findings.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry or equivalent field;
- Proven experience in the agri-dairy sector, with knowledge of quality-related courses and certifications;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Able to interpret complex data and make informed decisions based on test results.
