As a Key Configuration Specialist with DB Engineering & Consulting, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of signalling and telecom systems on transformative railway infrastructure projects across Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects, working closely with project teams, quality management, engineering, and other stakeholders to align configuration management processes with project needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive strategy for configuration management aligned with project and organizational objectives
  • Setting up configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, integrity, and traceability of all project items
  • Managing configuration baselines throughout the project lifecycle, including phases such as development, production, and maintenance
  • Overseeing and monitoring the configuration change process, ensuring all alterations are reviewed, authorized, and properly documented
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, tracking, and traceability of all configuration items throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to align configuration management processes with project needs
