Finance Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of our organization and contribute to the success of our financial operations.

The role involves managing key risks, optimizing business performance, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. As a Finance Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that we manage our cash effectively, develop strategies for liquidity management, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day finance operations, including cash management, investments, and financing activities.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for effective liquidity management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing financial risk exposure, including interest rate, currency, and credit risks.
  • Preparing and presenting regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams to optimize the bank's capital structure and funding strategies.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with external financial institutions, auditors, and regulators.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of finance policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the finance collective, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing liquidity and financial risks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in working across dispersed teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
