This position will involve managing key relationships with consultants, Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs), clinical engineering teams, and purchasing departments.
You will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring the continued growth of our product portfolio, with a focus on orthopaedics, spine, neuro, and general capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including consultants, CNMs, clinical engineering teams, and purchasing departments in hospitals and healthcare settings across the Southern Territory.
Manage a diverse portfolio of theatre products, including orthopaedic and neuro implants, surgical tables, surgical lights, instruments, and other capital equipment.
Drive sales performance within the assigned territory, focusing on orthopaedics and neuro implant sales while ensuring the continued expansion of capital equipment contracts.
Leverage existing contracts with the HSE for surgical tables and surgical lights to expand the product offerings within the healthcare sector.
Conduct regular business development activities, including site visits, presentations, and meetings with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and to promote new product solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, achieving both individual and team goals.
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to ensure the company remains competitive and ahead of industry demands.
Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and marketing materials for targeted products and services.
Key Products/Focus Areas: Orthopaedic and Neuro Implants Capital Equipment (Surgical Tables, Surgical Lights) Surgical Instruments Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in sales within the medical device, theatre products, or clinical engineering sectors.
Strong relationships and experience working with consultants, CNMs, clinical engineers, and purchasing teams.
Knowledge of the healthcare sector and procurement processes, particularly within the HSE framework, is highly desirable.
Experience with orthopaedic, spine, neuro, and general capital equipment products will be an advantage.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts and close deals effectively.
A driven, proactive, and results-oriented sales professional with the ability to manage a diverse product portfolio.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
A valid drivers license and the ability to travel within the territory as required (frequent travel to Dublin).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
Benefits: €65,000 basic salary with the potential to earn a €20,000 bonus based on performance.
