Location: Dublin - City Centre (on-site)


Salary: To be discussed at interview stages


Performance-Based Pay: Applicable - agreed annually. To be discussed at interview stages.


Ordinary hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Occasional overtime may be required to perform the duties of the role


Travel: Occasional Inter-city travel to and from Iconic Office locations may be required as part of the role


Group Companies: Employment with the Company for purposes of this Agreement shall include employment with any subsidiary.

The Role: 

As the Sales Manager | Flex, Services & Meeting Rooms at Iconic Offices, you play a pivotal role in driving revenue and commercial growth within our flexible service products. Your responsibilities encompass executing strategic commercial initiatives, client acquisition, and revenue generation for the respective products and services within your commercial area. You work closely with the (CCO) to deliver growth targets.

 

The role focuses on several key areas to drive growth and innovation. The role takes overall responsibility for meeting rooms and day services, working with the CCO to develop and execute sales strategies and new products to enhance customer experience and satisfaction and implementing the plan to the highest standard. The role also spearheads coworking products, involving comprehensive sales and retention plans, strategic initiatives, and the creation of innovative products to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Additionally, overseeing parking services by collaborating with service partners and managing internal commercial operations to ensure seamless and efficient parking solutions.

 

Regarding virtual offices, the role will advance and execute sales strategies, product development, and overall strategic planning to provide flexible and effective virtual office solutions.

 

Our partnerships are another critical area, and the role focuses on growth strategies and effective management to foster mutually beneficial relationships and drive business expansion. Together, these efforts contribute to a well-rounded approach to our service offerings and market presence.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


Sales & Key Account Management:


  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth while enhancing the client experience to propel the organisation towards exceeding growth targets.
  • Proactively drive the sales of flexible space products and exceed departmental revenue through outstanding sales execution both inbound and outbound.
  • Develop and execute management strategies to maximise revenue per client and drive conversions, with a sharp focus on client retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure correct rate positioning for meeting rooms and flex memberships, managing discounts and promotions, and utilising data analysis to make decisions to increase usage and revenue. Monitoring leads, bookings, price sensitivity, and cancellations ensuring revenue aligns with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales & ops team, offering ongoing training and mentorship to ensure they possess the skills and product knowledge to achieve and surpass sales targets consistently.
  • Strengthen relationships with corporate (Light Membership) clients and repeat bookers of Flex services, pinpointing and capitalising on upselling and cross-selling opportunities, including private offices and additional workspace services.
  • Implement a post-booking customer service strategy, reaching out via phone or survey to gather feedback and identify upselling opportunities. Collaborating closely with the Client Experience Manager to synchronize for seamless respective strategies.
  • Meet and exceed commercial targets set out by the CCO.
  • Develop and maintain robust sales reporting mechanisms to meticulously track performance and deliver data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Regularly conduct market analysis to uncover emerging trends, assess competitors, and capitalise on evolving opportunities, shaping the organisation's commercial strategy.


Product Development & Partnerships:


  • Actively participate in product innovations through market research, data analysis, and initiative development to improve the client experience and fuel revenue growth.
  • Partner with the CCO and operations department to continuously review, develop, refine, and elevate the customer journey, ensuring unwavering adherence to brand standards.
  • Optimise and expand distribution partners and collaborations that can expand the revenue streams, such as alliances with complementary service providers and external professional associations.

Other duties as necessary to support commercial efficiency. Prepare monthly progress reports, and other reports as and when directed.

Essential Experience:

 

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role preferably within the hospitality industry (hotel industry highly advantageous)
  • Data and analytical experience - previous experience in forecasting, and data analysis is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills - experience in data analysis and forecasting, understanding market trends, economic factors, and their impact on revenue management.
  • Attention to Detail and hands-on - ensuring precision in sales execution and reporting.
  • Project Management Skills - experience in managing multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines effectively.
  • Technological competence - proficient in MS Suite (proficient in Excel an advantage), and CRM systems (Salesforce and Nexedus an advantage)
  • Interpersonal Skills - strong relationship management skills to work effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Communication - must be a good communicator and comfortable with cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Problem-solving skills - ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Customer-focused mindset - prioritising customer satisfaction and experience in all strategies and interactions.
  • Self-Management and Cross-Departmental Collaboration- Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively managing tasks independently while also influencing and guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct reporting lines. This includes motivating and managing teams through collaboration, communication, and relationship-building, ensuring alignment and achieving shared objectives. Training Capabilities - Demonstrate the ability to train and mentor team members, and develop training materials, guides and resources that can be used for onboarding and continuous learning amongst relevant sales and ops team members.
