Business Development Account Director

Our client is one of Ireland’s largest indigenous advertising network, providing premier advertising solutions across five prominent Irish sites.
As a Business Development Account Director , you will be responsible for driving sales for a portfolio of clients and agencies, cultivating and expanding key relationships. You will undertake account management duties while collaborating with the Commercial Director to formulate and implement strategies to increase direct client revenue.
You will be joining a vibrant, fast-paced team in a young company that has grown rapidly to compete with century-old legacy publishers.

Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients and agencies. Develop and execute robust sales strategies tailored to client needs. Report weekly on sales performance and strategic initiatives. Effectively manage the sales pipeline. Understand the brief cycle and communicate requirements to relevant teams. Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships. Collaborate with Creative, Programmatic, Design, and Ad Ops teams to create innovative campaign solutions.
Requirements:
Excellent planning and organizational skills. Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Deep understanding of the media landscape. Enthusiasm for sales and a passion for addressing client needs, coupled with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to leverage contacts and client relationships strategically. Capacity to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in briefs, presentations, and written communications. Proficiency in managing client and agency account data using internal tools and processes. Target-driven mindset. Strong strategic thinking abilities.
