We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Executive to join our award-winning 4-star hotel. Castleknock Hotel is a dynamic and innovative hotel dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our guests. We are committed to excellence and are seeking a talented Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

 

As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and enhancing brand visibility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans and identifying new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and marketing to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time office based role.

 

Responsibilities:

 

        Assist the Marketing Manager in implementing the overall marketing strategy.

        Develop and monitor branding guidelines for hotel marketing collateral both online & offline.

        Manage design agency on briefs for artwork and assist in design, production, and costing of promotional materials.

        Create engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

        Manage online brand reputation across third-party sites like TripAdvisor and Google.

        Ensure the hotel website is regularly updated with relevant content and imagery.

        Conduct regular research on competitor websites and update management on new ideas and promotions.

        Develop and maintain the hotel database in compliance with data protection legislation.

        Compile various marketing reports accurately and in a timely manner.

        Handle marketing administration, ensuring a suitable filing and recording system is maintained.

        Engage with media, radio stations, local publications, and other institutions to promote Castleknock Hotel.

        Conduct show-rounds of Castleknock Hotel property for clients.

        Liaise with the Sales Manager to follow up on sales leads when appropriate.

        Travel to trade shows to assist in constructing display stands for hotel events.

        Maintain office space and stock levels of marketing material.

        Ensure hotel brochure stands to display current marketing material adequately.

        Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing, and Employment.

 

Requirements:

 

        At least 2 years of proven experience in sales and marketing.

        Results-oriented with emphasis on both individual and team accountability.

        Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset with a strong analytical approach.

        Good verbal and written communication skills.

        Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

        Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

        Ability to analyise data and establish appropriate action plans.

        Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

        Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

        Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows

        Willingness to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the company.

        Ability to comply with rules and standards outlined in the employee handbook.

        Capable of working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and management.
